The Expedition

The 2021 Expedition in Svalbard represents the pinnacle of Climate Sentinels. We are lucky to all have extensive field experience in this region. We have all studied and taught at the University Centre in Svalbard, investigated the Arctic snow and glaciers of the archipelago. In April 2021, we have successfully skied across 450 km, dragging pulkas to collect snow samples in the cleanest possible way.
